Illinois State Student Competition

Capri Dazzled the State of Illinois with Eight wins at the Illinois State Student Competition held Nov. 9th at the Tinley Part Convention Center: Sarah T - 1st Place Color to the Extreme, Halli V & Theresa P. 3rd Color to the Extreme; Cliff F. & Katrina M. 9th Place Club Mix; in Make-up: Colleen W. 2nd Place, Ashley K. 8th place and Kelli C. 9th Place; and in Long Hair: Christine D. 2nd Place and Katie T. 2nd Place Make-up Bridal. Congratulations to all who participated.

In the December 19, 2007 U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT on Best Careers 2008, hairstylist/cosmetologist was featured as one of the newest best careers. Four noncollege careers were added to the list of the best careers for 2008. Hairstylist also ranked No. 1 in job satisfaction.
